Went on a Sunday morning, and queued for about 10 minutes. Popular among Western tourists. Order breakfast set 1000 yen or above, and you got all-you-can-eat bread from the bread basket. It was a lovely place for a leisurely breakfast.

We went back to this place multiple times during our stay in Kyoto, not once were we disappointed. It has spectacular food of many kinds and very considerate staff. The decor was beautiful and the resturant had a relaxing atmosphere. If I were to go back to Kyoto I would definitely revisit this restaurant and pastry shop.
